Let me be your guide! ✨
Have you ever wanted to make your own natural body and beauty products but not sure where to start?
After more than 14 years of making natural bath and body goods for my family and you here at Cosmic, I'm excited to finally be opening my calendar to schedule a few spring workshop dates! 🌸
Workshops will be hands-on, so bring your apron and a notebook. It will be a place to get your hands dirty making clean products for you and your family. Workshop students will go home with hands-on knowledge of loose mineral blush & eyeshadow making, the goodies you make in class, and recipes and tools to get you started making more at home.
Due to the nature of the ingredients we'll be handling, this will be open to adults only, and class sizes will be limited so that you get lots of attention from me and can hopefully walk away feeling confident to make the recipes again at home.
What students can expect:
- 4 hours of workshop time + 1-hour lunch break (*lunch will be provided)
- We'll begin with some basic knowledge of different types of makeup while I demo the process we'll be following for this class
- My Mineral Blushes & Eyeshadow Making 101 Class Handouts that contains Cosmic tested recipes, step-by-step instructions, and a recipe/batch worksheet to use on all future batches, plus other helpful resources
- Now for the fun stuff - Students will get to make and customize 3-4 blushes and 3-4 eyeshadows in class to take home
- We'll walk through proper handling and responsible labeling practices
- You should have tools set aside for your soap-making adventures. So your workshop kit will include tools we'll use that day that you can take home to make all the makeup your heart desires
- The confidence that comes with experience
- Workshops will be held in Turlock. Details, including the address, will be sent to students in the coming weeks
Can't make one of our April workshops? Keep an eye out for when we release dates for May classes.
